About Fernando de Castilla Classic Fino

Fernando de Castilla Classic Fino is a fortified wine from the D.O Jerez produced by the winery Rey Fernando de Castilla. This is a monovarietal from the grape Palomino Fino.

After the harvest, following traditional methods, the winemaking processed is initiated in the winery.

The grape that produces Fernando de Castilla Classic Fino is pressed in its entirety and subsequently, fermented in stainless steel containers.

The must is obtained and fortified at 15% before performing a long ageing process.

Fernando de Castilla Classic Fino is aged organically using flor yeast in oak barrels in memory of a traditional method: soleras y criaderas. The wine is aged for 5 years.

Rey Fernando de Castilla is one of the most exclusive wineries in Jerez. Located in this historical place, where they produce a number of exclusive products: brandy, wines and vinegar, these are their specialities.
