About Marco Real Reserva de la Familia

Marco Real Reserva de la Familia is a red wine made the Marco Real winery in the town of Olite, in Navarra.

Marco Real Reserva de la Familia is a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Graciano varieties. The grapes come from vineyards over 40 years old, planted in the small towns of Sansol and Torres del Río. Harvesting is done manually at the optimum ripeness of the grapes, which are then moved to the cellar in small quantities. First the winery makes a double selection of grapes and carefully introduces them into the tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. Each variety undergoes the process separately. Once the fermentation has been completed, maceration takes place over a period of 25 to 30 days, in order to extract the excess tannin. Marco Real Reserva de la Familia undergoes aging in new French oak barrels for 14 months.

The taste is a full bodied and concentrated. There is a presence of fresh fruit and balsamic. Long finish.



To the eye it is a beautiful dark cherry red.



Complex nose with clear notes of ripe red fruits, combined with some notes of violets, vanilla and toasted flavours.
