About Terra Remota Caminante

Terra Remota Caminante is a white wine produced in Emporda by Terra Remota in Sant Climent Sescebes, Gerona.

This winery was created by Emma and Marc Bournazeau in the heart of Alt Emporda. It boasts 40 hectares of ecologically cultivated and planted vineyards.

Terra Remota Caminito is made with the Garnacha Blanca (50%), Chardonnay (35%) and Chenin Blanc (15%) varieties. They chill the grapes below 6ºC and after carrying out the selection process, they are pressed. Fermentation begins at a controlled temperature of 18ºC and the wine is decanted into barrels where it will remain for 12 months.

Terra Remota Caminante 2022 beckons us to explore its vibrancy and crispness. On the nose, it unfolds scents of apple and pear, interwoven with hints of white blossoms and a delicate thread of anise. Upon tasting, its lightness pirouettes on the palate, unveiling a refined texture that progresses into notes of brioche and a mineral undertone reminiscent of sea-sprayed stones. Graceful yet commanding, this white wine is characterized by its sharp definition and harmonious complexity.
